Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Baru Rubs & Sauces was launched in 2015. Run by longtime friends, Zeta News and Nina Lafleur, the company branched out from their popular Kitsilano restaurant, Baru Latino. Baru uses South American flavours as a springboard to create a line or Rubs & Sauces that utilize fresh, healthy, and tasty ingredients.
Baru also makes a line of hot sauces called "Ouch!" for those who like to kick things up a notch.
